The Great Lakes Planers products are designed for the serious Great Lakes and Fresh Water anglers. Our rocket launchers and rod racks incorporate planer masts with a uniquely designed rocket launcher stack and rod storage system that will fit a large variety of boat models, sizes and styles including both canvas and hardtops.
The PATENTED bracketing system and modular design provides a custom fit on most boats simply by cutting the horizontal support bar to the correct size based on mounting point location and individual boat width.
These lightweight aluminum systems are noted for there easy installation and assembly and the whole system can be removed in a matter of seconds. All of the rod rack systems can be mounted on a flat surface such as the gunwales or deck or on vertical surfaces with our special vertical mounting bases. The product module concept and ability to adjust our racks to the desired arrangement/location is unmatched in the industry. GLP products are not anodized for for saltwater protection. Applying a aluminum clear coat can help protect the polished finish from the elements, especially when boating/fishing in salt salt water,
