Lets you secure your down-rigger to the rail of your boat. No cutting or drilling necessary. Just clamp this aluminum mount to the rail and position your down-rigger on the base. It can also be used to mount a down-rigger to the side of your boat when gunwales won't accommodate deck plates or bases. Should be attached at the "T" joint of the rail.
