Dolphin Pro 2 T top is designed for the mid to large size center console fishing boat. Will fit consoles up to 47 inches wide.With a great blend of curves and weight this T Top will blend with any boat on the market. Dolphin T Top is built with strong aluminum tube, the canopy is made from VIII grade UV resist Acrylic, and the canopy with zipper make the installation very easy and customized looking! It is 83 Inches high, 82 inch L x 61 inch wide cover.

Lowering the T Top

Front leg loosen the middle bolt.
Remove the top and bottom bolt from the joint
Remove the bolt from the rear leg.
Pivot the T Top forwards.
If needed you can remove bolt from top frame joint

Dolphin Pro/Pro S2 T TOP Installation Guide

 

1. CHECK/INSPECT YOUR ACCESS TO THE UNDERSIDE OF YOUR FLOOR WHERE YOUR FLOOR MOUNTS WILL BE LOCATED.  ON SOME BOATS YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE SMALL AMOUNTS OF FLOATING FOAM IN ORDER TO HAVE CLEARANCE FOR INSTALLING BACKING PLATES WHICH ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

2. CHECK/INSPECT THE INSIDE OF YOUR CENTER CONSOLE TO ENSURE YOU HAVE ACCESS TO INSTALL THE 4 STANDOFFS. IF POSSIBLE 2 STANDOFFS WILL BE INSTALLED ON EACH SIDE TO PROVIDE EXTRA SUPPORT AND PREVENT SWAY.

3. MEASURE THE WIDTH OF YOUR CENTER CONSOLE. MAXIMUM WIDTH IS 60"

 4. FOLLOW INSTALLATION DIRECTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

5. WE RECOMMEND HAVING TWO PEOPLE TO LIFT AND SET THE UNIT IN PLACE.

The T Top is designed for the mid to large size center console fishing boat. Will fit consoles up to 47 inches wide. Being the original designer of this awesome Shape we love it and so will you. With a great blend of curves and weight this T Top will blend with any boat on the market.

The 2inch anodized main frames will be locked into your console with our 4 x standoffs for extra strength and stability. The support standoff arms will connect from either the horizontal or vertical frame through the side of your center console.

Standard features are the large grab handles and the pivoting folding system. The main frame has a clean looking pivoting system which allows you to fold the boat t tops forward. The top cover frame can folded in half again to have the cover in the lowest possible position to store you boat under cover.

Another unique system that dolphin boat t tops has is the removable cover. We are the only brand with the easy zipper and Velcro construction.  There is no time wasted with annoying bungee cord, weaving in out of holes.  You can remove the boat t top cover in seconds for safe storage whilst traveling down highway. This only will save you money at the fuel station and  cleaning is a breeze.

The Boat T Top Materials

The material cover is made from VIII grade UV resist Acrylic. The main frame is a 2inch seamless thick walled 6063 aluminum frame.  So you know the frame of the boat t top is light and solid to take the pounding of the swell. All our weld and bends are handcrafted by the best craftsmen in the business. The fitting are CNC machined from solid 6061 aluminum.  The frames are smooth polished and anodized for easy care and protection. All the hardware is 316 stainless steel, we recommend that you do service you bolts with a clear protection spray and check them for oxidation between the stainless and alloy over time.

Installing the T Top on your boat

You are supplied with stand offs for extra strength. When you install the standoffs you can cut and adjust to suit your exact requirements for that factory fit. Mounting to the floor of you boat through 4 solid welded deck feet. We recommend that you check the flooring can take and hold the boat t top correct.  Check to see if you need extra support or strengthening to your flooring.

We recommend you use the backing plates for secure installation on a flat surface. Ensure the structure of the floor and underneath is strong and suitable for attaching the center console boat t top before you purchase. If you are in doubt have a professional from your local boat dealer install the boat t top for you.

Now built even more Universal. Capable to conform to all Center Console Boats. Even Boston Whalers.Adjustable horizontal braces allow continued use of side doors with no modification to boat. Very strong and usable unit. Built from 2" schedule 40 Anodized aluminum tube.

If you are in salt water, you must have a anodized and not polished tube T Top.  Designed to fold down in a matter of minutes to clear bridges or get it on the lift in the boat house.

 

Hollow tube all the way through to run and hide wires.  You will need to drill an access hole near the bottom of one of the legs above the mounts approximate 1" above the top of the mounts when the mounts are fully seated in the tube and an exit hole near where you will be mounting your lights on the top cross tube.

Insert a wire during assembly to serve as a cord for pulling the wires through the tube when the assembly is complete.

We recommend using a good quality automotive anti-seize compound on all threads. While not mandatory this additional step will save you work later should you decide to move or disassemble rod holders etc.

Two different style mounts "side and deck". Mounting holes are .278 diameter and are sized for 1/4  20 screws. Stainless steel screws are recommended. Also backing plates are recommended. You may need to cut small amounts of flotation foam under the gunnels on some boats.

Assembly required. Bolts,nuts and lock washers for holding the bases to the deck or cabin side may not be included due to the wide variety of hull and or floor/cabin thicknesses. Bases should be thru bolted with backing plates. In many boats it may be necessary to remove small amounts of flotation foam to gain access for installing the backing plates and nuts. Please purchase the stainless steel bolts, nuts, backing plates or large fender washers and lock washers locally that are the correct length for your application. Want a jump start?
